Every night the musicians gathered to witness the performance of new works for piano, flute, violin, and guitar. Contemporary music is art music of our time, written by live composers who have something to say.
“They need to be heard,” said Lisa Cella, flautist. Anne added, ”There are two kinds of music festivals: chamber music that includes everything but not the guitar and guitar festivals only for guitarists. Cortona is the exception.”
