During the 10 day music festival, each day usually began with breakfast at 8 am followed by individual practice or group rehearsals. Anne’s career workshop ran from 10 to 11 am covering topics like networking exercises, portfolio career discussions, writing your biographies and websites. At the 11 am composers’ colloquium, composers presented and discussed their work. At 1 pm, everyone broke for lunch runs for 1.5 hours either at the hotel restaurant or outdoors on the Beato terrace. The afternoons were spent on individual composition lessons, practice, open rehearsals, or any of the four Roland keyboards in the composition lab in Sala B. Evening concerts started either at 6:30 pm or 9:30 pm. Before long, it was 21st July, the last concert and time to say goodbye.
